True Humility and Fear of God leads to Riches,Honour and Life

The reward of humility [that is, having a realistic view of one’s importance] and the [reverent, worshipful] fear of the Lord Is riches, honor, and life.

Thanks be to God for His Word today, it is simple and clear. Fear the Lord, that is give full reverence to the Most High God. The Fear of the Lord will cause you to walk according to the Word of God. All worship and adoration goes to Him alone. The Bible says the fear of the Lord is the beginning of Wisdom.

Humility is also an important virtue or ingredient that a child of God must possess. Do not see yourself highly placed than others, humility will require eschewing any form of pride. True humility and the fear of the Lord combined makes you an outstanding person.

May Jehovah God Almighty be our portion. May we walk in true humility and the Fear of the Lord and reap the rewards of Riches, Honour and Life now and forever more in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.

Walk with the Wise and become Wise

He who walks [as a companion] with wise men will be wise, But the companions of [conceited, dull-witted] fools [are fools themselves and] will experience harm.

Glory and honour be to God for this beautiful day and the gift of life, we shall enjoy the goodness of the Lord.

Glory be God for giving us the ability to be able to discern and make choices. Today we are presented with the opportunity of association that will forever impact our lives. The 1st verse of this chapter says that a wise son heeds and accepts the Father’s instructions and discipline and from the fruit of the mouth a wise man enjoys good things. May we enjoy good things by choosing wisely.

Today, tie this scripture around your neck and waist! Be in the company of the wise, walk with the wise, sit with the wise, chat with the wise, be intentional about connecting to the WISE!

Embrace any gathering that will afford you a connection with people you can learn from. The foolish association will lead to only destruction.

Let’s Receive the Wisdom of God to make the right choices all the days of our lives in Jesus name.

May we be spiritually alert to know who to connect to so we shall be counted among the wise. May folly not come near our dwelling in Jesus Mighty name. Walk with the wise and be wise. Amen.

Many are the devices, desires and plans in the hearts of man. The strategies that we put together without God will not stand the test of time unless God is invited to take charge.

Dr Myles Munroe said that where the purpose of a thing is not known abuse is inevitable. It is therefore important to know the purpose of our lives or a thing so we do not abuse.

Psalm 33:11 says the plans of the Lord stand firm forever, the purposes of His through all generations, may this be our portion in Jesus Mighty name. May our plans be taken over by the Most High God.

May the Lord help us to submit our plans to Him so that He will subject them to His master plan and have His way in our lives. May the Lord’s counsel and purposes stand for us in Jesus Mighty name.

The Name of the Lord is our Strong Tower and refuge

The name of the Lord is a strong tower; The righteous runs to it and is safe and set on high [far above evil].

Praise God for the name of the Lord! It is the safety net we have as children of God. A tower that shields us from the wild things of this world that can destroy our lives.

The righteous run to the Strong Tower by obeying His commandments and walking in them. Abiding by the Word of God is safety by itself as we receive counsel and direction from the Word of God.

May we hold on to the name of the Lord as our Strong Tower and refuge, may we abide by His Word and walk in Safety. May we remain in Him all the days of our lives in Jesus Mighty name. Amen

Training Children in the Lord so that it becomes way of life when they grow up

Train up a child in the way he should go [teaching him to seek God’s wisdom and will for his abilities and talents], Even when he is old he will not depart from it.

Glory and honour be unto God for this beautiful day, rejoice and celebrate His goodness today.

Children are very dear to the Lord. They are precious gifts that the Lord has given to mankind and we need to remain good stewards over them.

Jesus Christ in His ministry here on earth demonstrated His love for children by ensuring that any barrier to keep the children away from Him was removed, He indicated that the Kingdom of God belongs to the children.

It is therefore important that we observe the requirements of today’s scripture, for the little ones to be taught and trained in the ways of the Lord so it becomes their way of life.

As the fear of the Lord is inculcated into them at a younger age, they shall grow up with it and bear profitable fruits for God and society.

Young people avail yourselves to be trained in God’s ways so you can operate in His wisdom and ways. Parents endeavour to carry out this God given mandate!

Anxiety weighs down the heart but a good Word uplifts

Anxiety in a man’s heart weighs it down, But a good (encouraging) word makes it glad.
PROVERBS 12:25 AMP

Praise, Glory and honour be to God for this beautiful day and the opportunity to rejoice and be glad in it.

Anxiety is so common with us that at the least moment we become anxious. We worry a lot but unfortunately cannot change the situation ourselves in most cases.

In one of Jesus’ teaching He indicated that with our anxiety we are unable to even add one strand of hair to what is on our head. The God we serve takes care of the birds of the air and the lilies of the field, He will continue to take care of us.

As today’s scripture says, anxiety causes us to be disheartened, worried, agitated, down hearted and many more which negatively affects us. The fact is that anxiety does not change the situation! May we desist from being anxious as we just hurt ourselves.

The scripture recommends a good and encouraging word which uplifts the soul and makes the heart glad. We should therefore be embracing good and encouraging words which will gladden the heart and make positive impact on our lives. Let us also look for some good gospel songs to sing along to uplift our souls and encourage ourselves in time of need.

May we receive the Grace to overcome and conquer anxiety in our lives. May God’s Word which encourages and exhorts be ours so we get lifted up in Jesus Mighty name. Amen

Death and Life lie in the Power of the Tongue

Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.

Praise and honour be to God for a brand new day and leading us to the last day of the month. May the joy of the Lord be our portion today.

Words are powerful, they either make or break you. The scripture for the day is charging us to pay attention to the words that we utter. They carry the Power to make or unmake us. We need to choose the right words at all times.

The words that we speak should therefore contain life, they must be encouraging, reassuring, positive and bringing solutions. Such words bring life to any dead situation.

Let’s utilise the authority and power given us to use words to make a positive impact on the world. Our words should bring light to a dark world. People should yearn to hear from us because anytime we speak, joy and peace are experienced. May this be your portion in Jesus Mighty name.

Guard your heart with all Diligence

Watch over your heart with all diligence, For from it flow the springs of life.

Praise and Glory be to God for this beautiful day may His holy name be exalted and glorified.

Guard your heart or keep/watch your heart as it is the source of our life issues. The scripture says that we should watch over our hearts with all diligence.

That is we need to strive hard to keep watch over the heart since it is the source of our actions, Jesus once said that it is not what goes into a man that defiles him but what comes from within (Mark 7:21). Let’s therefore be conscious and cautious about what we process in our hearts.Guarding our hearts means loving Jesus and letting His Word dwell in us.

Heavenly Father help us to guard our hearts with all diligence so we can release only things that will edify those around us. May the issues of life that come out of our hearts be a blessing in Jesus Mighty name, Amen.

Honouring Mothers

Strength and dignity are her clothing and her position is strong and secure; And she smiles at the future [knowing that she and her family are prepared]. She opens her mouth in [skillful and godly] wisdom, And the teaching of kindness is on her tongue [giving counsel and instruction].

Glory and honour be unto God for this beautiful day and the opportunity to specially celebrate Mothers.

Today’s scripture captures the strength and qualities that our mothers exhibit. The basis of this chapter is the fear of the Lord that culminates in the excellent woman described.

We acknowledge the the excellent and industrious woman of Proverbs 31 and present all women and mother figures before your throne today. May the strength and dignity of God continue to clothe our mothers.

Today we celebrate Mothers for among others the qualities you have endowed them….hard work, respect for spouse, foresight and insight, encouragement, care for others, love for children and wisdom in handling money and managing the home. May all Mothers be praised for the Great blessing they are to many.

Mothers deserve Honour and to be celebrated!

May the Lord honour every Mother and potential mother. May greater grace be multiplied unto all Mothers and Women. May the joy of the Lord remain with Mothers now and forever more in Jesus Mighty name.

Iron Sharpens Iron, Man Sharpens Man

As iron sharpens iron, So one man sharpens [and influences] another [through discussion].
PROVERBS 27:17 AMP

Iron sharpens iron! The iron that is able to sharpen must be sharp, a blunt iron cannot sharpen the other. We must stay as sharp irons and interact with other sharp irons so we can sharpen and be sharpened as well.

There is an adage that says show me your friend and I will show you your character. It is very true that as people relate closely, they influence each other. What kind of influence do we have on those we relate to? Our influence should be godly and positive, this is what we should give and receive!

May we remain sharpened by the Word of God as we sharpen and shape each other positively with our godly influence. May no blunt iron be able to negatively influence us. May the Lord help us to stay as relevant influencers in our generation in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.

Do not be wise in your own eyes,Fear the Lord and depart from evil

Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the Lord [with reverent awe and obedience] and turn [entirely] away from evil.

The scripture admonishes us that we should not be wise in our own eyes as that does not lead us anywhere.

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. It is the fear of the Lord that will bring the needed wisdom that we require to excel on all fronts and enjoy grace.

To fear the Lord requires that we give our utter most reverence to the Lord and totally obey Him. It also requires us to completely turn away from evil and any appearance of evil.

May the Lord help us to accomplish His purposes in Jesus Mighty name, may His grace be sufficient for us to live completely for Christ all the days of our lives in Jesus Mighty name. Amen

Reverence for God is far important than Beauty and Charm

Charm and grace are deceptive, and [superficial] beauty is vain, But a woman who fears the Lord [reverently worshiping, obeying, serving, and trusting Him with awe-filled respect], she shall be praised.

Praise and glory be to God for this beautiful day and the opportunity to rejoice and be glad in it.

We honour God for the opportunity to see this day. Today is International Women’s Day and we appreciate all the women in our lives and the numerous things they do for us.

The scripture says that beauty and charm are superficial, these are important but most important is a woman who fears the Lord. By extension a man who reverences the Lord stands tall in the sight of God because the good looks are temporal.

The fear of the Lord is to give Him our worship continually, obey His Word and abide by them, serve Him continually and trust Him completely.

May we continually worship and reverence the Most High God. May our total trust remain in Him. May we obedient to His Word and abide by them all the days of our lives in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.
