Pursue Righteousness and Loyalty to obtain Life and Honour

He who earnestly seeks righteousness and loyalty Finds life, righteousness, and honor.

Hallelujah, Praise , honour and adoration be to God for this beautiful day, may the joy of the Lord be with you throughout your day.

Righteousness, Life and Honour are three important ingredients of life here on earth that positions one also for life eternal in Jesus Christ.

The Bible is telling us today that in order to find Life and Honour, we need to earnestly pursue righteousness. Righteousness is living right with God, that is obeying His commandments and observing to do all that is contained in the Word.

Therefore to possess these important virtues of life, follow hard after righteousness, purpose in your heart that you will always be in right standing with the Lord so you can fully obtain His righteousness, Life and Honour.

May the Lord help us to follow hard after His Word and live a godly and upright life to be found righteous in His sight thereby receiving Life and Honour in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.

The Lord Direct your Steps and Establish them

A man’s mind plans his way [as he journeys through life], But the Lord directs his steps and establishes them.
PROVERBS 16:9 AMP

Praise be to God for this beautiful day. May His name alone be praised and glorified.

Many are the plans and schemes that are designed by man using our own mind and thinking but there is a great God who knows the end from the beginning. Our God has already scanned through the entire year and knows what is in stock.

The Lord therefore takes a look at our man-made plans and re-hatches, re-formats, re-moulds and redesigns them for His children.

May the Lord always come through to re-shape your plans for your good.
May His joy, peace, grace, favour, laughter, glory, honour and enlargement go ahead of you in Jesus Mighty name.

May the Lord guide and direct your steps so that they are fully established and rooted in Him. May no step of yours go astray because the Lord is with you to direct your affairs. Receive the overtaking anointing for greater works in Jesus name.

Associate with the Wise and become Wise

He who walks [as a companion] with wise men will be wise, But the companions of [conceited, dull-witted] fools [are fools themselves and] will experience harm.

Thanks be to God for this beautiful day and the gift of life, we shall enjoy the goodness of the Lord.

Glory be God for giving us the ability to be able to discern and make choices. Today we are presented with the opportunity of association that will forever impact our lives. The 1st verse of this chapter says that a wise son heeds and accepts the Father’s instructions and discipline and from the fruit of the mouth a wise man enjoys good things.

Today, tie this scripture around your neck and waist! Be in the company of the wise, walk with the wise, sit with the wise, chat with the wise, be intentional about connecting to the WISE!

Embrace any gathering that will afford you a connection with people you can learn from. The foolish association will lead to only destruction.

Let’s Receive the Wisdom of God to make the right choices all the days of our lives in Jesus name.

May we be spiritually alert to know who to connect to so we shall be counted among the wise. May folly not come near our dwelling in Jesus Mighty name. Walk with the wise and be wise. Amen.

Today’s scripture says that we should commit our works to the Lord, it literally means surrendering our all to the Lord. What are our works or plans that we think we can handle on our own? Submit them today into the hands of the Master and trust Him to lead the way.

A friend that sticks closer than a brother

A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother.
(Proverbs 18:24 KJV)

Praise be to God for this beautiful day, May we experience the joy of the Lord throughout the day.

Hallelujah! It is important that we remain as friendly as we can so that we can walk with our friends in truth.

The Message Bible says “friends come and friends go”, what role do we play in our friends going, as much as it depends on us let us strive to live peaceably with all men. You must make the effort to be friendly though that may not prevent some friends from leaving due to certain reasons.

Make every effort to be that friend that sticks closer than a brother or to be friendly enough to walk with the friend that sticks closer than a brother. The blessings of walking closely with a good friend include encouraging one another and sharpening one another.

Our major friend who sticks closer than a brother is Jesus, He died for us so that we may have eternal life. May we stick to Him all the days of our lives. Use your friendliness to minister Christ Jesus to others. Have a blessed day. Amen.

Knowledge starts with the Fear of God

The [reverent] fear of the Lord [that is, worshiping Him and regarding Him as truly awesome] is the beginning and the preeminent part of knowledge [its starting point and its essence]; But arrogant fools despise [skillful and godly] wisdom and instruction and self-discipline.
(PROVERBS 1:7 AMP)

Praise be to God for this beautiful day, His grace will see us through our day.

Knowledge starts with the Fear of the Lord, as we honour and adore the Lord, as we worship Him alone as God we are saying that He alone is God and worthy to be praised and worshipped.

God is the creator of the universe and all things were created by Him, as we reverence and walk with Him closely our eyes of understanding begin to open and we acquire knowledge.

The second part of the scripture however talks about the arrogant fool who despises wisdom and self discipline because he will not reverence God.

May the Fear and reverence of the Lord be completely entrenched in our lives, May we never lose our Love for God and thereby miss out on the knowledge and wisdom of God. May we rather grow and abound in Godly wisdom and knowledge. Enjoy your day. Shalom.

Guard your mouth, Protect your life

The one who guards his mouth [thinking before he speaks] protects his life; The one who opens his lips wide [and chatters without thinking] comes to ruin.

Praise God for the blessings of a brand new day.

The scripture for the day is charging us to carefully process our thoughts before speaking. We should not allow loose words out of our mouths. Think about the consequences of your words before you speak.

The result of thinking before speaking is protection of your life. Destruction comes upon those who speak without reasoning. Our words should edify our hearers.

May Jehovah help us to minister grace to our hearers. May our words always be choice words that bring life in Jesus name. Amen

Trust in the Lord!

Trust in and rely confidently on the Lord with all your heart And do not rely on your own insight or understanding. In all your ways know and acknowledge and recognize Him, And He will make your paths straight and smooth [removing obstacles that block your way].

We bless God for a brand new day and declare that we will rejoice and be glad in it!

Trust in the Lord completely, fully, totally and without wavering! Your absolute trust should be in the Lord, no iota of of relying on your own understanding. Just like a little child believes that anything that he asks his father shall be delivered.

As we fully and completely trust God without relying on our own understanding and insights, we are saying to God that we cannot do it on our own so take charge and lead us in all our endeavours.

As we entrust our lives to Him, He goes ahead of us and levels every mountain ahead of us, fills every valley and straightens every crooked path.

May the Lord make your paths smooth and grant your heart desires as you continue to trust and rely on Him. Amen

This morning’s scripture assures us that if we earnestly seek after righteousness and mercy, we shall receive from the Lord.

 
As you strongly desire to follow Christ Jesus and to live right with the Lord, the benefits thereof are mega!

Think before Speaking

“The one who guards his mouth [thinking before he speaks] protects his life; The one who opens his lips wide [and chatters without thinking] comes to ruin.”

Today presents another fresh and beautiful day that we can make a difference in our world. The Bible is teaching us that the one who guards his or her mouth protects his/her life.

 
The wisdom the writer brings to us today is that we should carefully choose our words. We should ponder over our words before uttering them. Our words should be processed before being released into space!

 
God in His wisdom has given us the ability to think about the things we say, we therefore chart the wisdom path when we carefully think through what we say. It saves us from a lot of trouble and unnecessary conflicts.

 
The tendency to speak up your mind in some situations is there but consider your words as that alone can save some lives and bring glory to God.

 
The Bible says the one who opens his mouth wide without thinking attracts destruction and trouble unto himself, may this not be your portion.
