Return genuinely to the Lord with all your heart

“Even now,” says the Lord , “Turn and come to Me with all your heart [in genuine repentance], With fasting and weeping and mourning [until every barrier is removed and the broken fellowship is restored];
JOEL 2:12 AMP

Praise God for the blessings of a brand new day and the opportunity to rejoice and be glad in it. Today is Ghana’s 65th birthday, hurray! Happy Independence Day to all Ghanaians.

We thank God that He is caring, when we mess up and go our own ways, He cuddles us and offers us the position of sons and daughters again. An amazing God we have.

The Lord is calling for us to turn from our own ways (wicked and wayward) and come to Him with our hearts and minds completely renewed towards Him. He is ready to receive us into His marvellous light.

Restore unto us the joy of our salvation and renew the right Spirit within us, cast me not away from your presence O Lord 🎼🎵🎼🎤

Most High God as we come to you with all our heart welcome us and offer us a place of honour in your Kingdom. Restore our broken fellowship in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.

Repent and Return to God

So repent [change your inner self–your old way of thinking, regret past sins] and return [to God–seek His purpose for your life], so that your sins may be wiped away [blotted out, completely erased], so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord [restoring you like a cool wind on a hot day];
ACTS 3:19 AMP

Hallelujah to the King of Kings for this beautiful day and the opportunity to rejoice and be glad in it.

Today’s scripture is part of the Sermon preached by Apostle Peter after the healing of the lame man at the beautiful gate. Peter used the opportunity to present the gospel to the crowd that gathered in amazement at the healing of the lame man.

The Apostle made it clear that Jesus Christ whom they ridiculed and killed is the source of the power by which the lame man had been healed.

The simple message therefore was for them to repent and Return to the Lord so they may be forgiven of their sins and enjoy the presence of the Lord.
This message is relevant to us today, Jesus Christ is ready to accept us and forgive us of all our sins if we come to Him to forgive us and cleanse us.

May we all repent and Return to God for His forgiveness and cleansing. May we encounter His presence and restoration in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.
