The book of Revelation gives us a glimpse of heaven according to the revelation John had. The new heaven and earth as described in the chapter and in this verse tells of what God has in store for His people.

What God is preparing for His chosen children is awesome as the scripture describes, no crying, no anguish, no sorrow, no death for every tear shall be wiped away. If these are taken away the obvious replacement include joy, jubilation, peace and laughter. May these be our portion in Jesus Mighty name.

Jesus Christ is knocking on the door of your heart, Open the door for Him

‘Behold, I stand at the door [of the church] and continually knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him (restore him), and he with Me.

We thank God for His desire for all to be saved. He gave His only begotten son to die to set us free from sin and death. This morning His Word says that He is standing at the door of your heart and knocking.

He is knocking because He wants to come in, have you responded to Him? May we be sensitive to know that God is at our heart’s entrance seeking to enter and take charge of our hearts and lives.

He requires our opening of the door of our hearts to Him so He comes in to dwell permanently. The bible says that He will come in and dine with us, our well being will become His priority. Let’s open the door of our hearts to the King of Glory to come in.

After these things I looked, and this is what I saw: a vast multitude which no one could count, [gathered] from every nation and from all the tribes and peoples and languages [of the earth], standing before the throne and before the Lamb (Christ), dressed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands;

In the preceding verses of today’s scripture reference is made to the 144000 from the 12 tribes of Israel who were sealed. The countless number of people from all nations, tribes, languages etc gives assurance of Salvation that is available to all and the saving grace of our Lord and Saviour.

Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ was made to die by the heavenly father so that anyone who believes in the heart and confesses with the mouth can be saved and have access to the Kingdom of God.

May we appear before the Lord ready to enter His Kingdom irrespective of our colour or race. May the lives we lead today be pleasing unto the Lord so that we gain access into heaven at the coming of the Lord. Amen.
