Come to Jesus for Absolute Rest for Your Soul

“Come to Me, all who are weary and heavily burdened [by religious rituals that provide no peace], and I will give you rest [refreshing your souls with salvation]. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me [following Me as My disciple], for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest (renewal, blessed quiet) for your souls.”

Praise God for the blessing of a brand-new day! Take a moment to celebrate His goodness today.

God the Father gave His only begotten Son to die and set us free from sin and death. Because of this great sacrifice, Jesus is always ready to do anything that will bring us true freedom.

In today’s Scripture, Jesus invites us to come to Him, to lay down every burden, every entanglement, and every form of spiritual exhaustion that hinders us from loving and serving God wholeheartedly. He offers to make our burdens light, if only we will surrender to Him.

We often look weary as we try to handle life’s struggles on our own, but we don’t have to carry them anymore. The Saviour of the world has our back. He is the ultimate burden lifter.

All we need to do is to come, surrender, and receive His rest.

May every load, burden, and form of weariness be lifted today as we present them to Jesus Christ.
May you walk in His refreshing rest, renewal, and quiet strength. Amen.

Bless the Lord, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits:
Psalms 103:2 NKJV

Praise and glory be to God for this beautiful day and the opportunity to rejoice and be glad in it. Thanks be to God for ushering us into the 4th month of the year. Hallelujah!

This day the bible enjoins us to follow the steps of King David and show our gratitude to the Most High God.

The Psalmist says Bless the Lord O my Soul and let all that is within me bless His holy name. The verse 2 which is our focus today says that we should bless the Lord and forget not all His benefits.

Are we able to recall all the benefits of the Lord? Are we able to list all the benefits of the Lord. We most times focus on the big things and take the basics of life for granted. Have you thanked God today for the gift of life? Have you considered that your ability to see, walk, talk is something we need appreciate the Lord for?

Most High God we are here today to say thank you for ALL you do for us, yes even the ones we forget to mention. Thank you Father and we praise you with our entire being and families. Be glorified now and forever more in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.

Today’s scripture is the Word Moses gave to the people of Israel when he was leading them. Jesus Christ in His earthly ministry repeated same words when he was asked what was the greatest commandment.(Matthew 22:37)

There is no alternative to loving God! If you have not started a relationship with the Most High God then you are running late! Jesus Christ is our Lord and Saviour so connect to Him by accepting Him as Lord and personal Saviour. Believe in your heart and confess with your mouth.

Father help us to devote our entire lives in loving and serving you. May nothing prevent us from loving you with our entirety. We surrender to you King of Glory,reign forever more in our lives in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.

Hallelujah! Hallelujah to the King of Kings for this beautiful day . What a blessing to see this day.

King David wrote this Psalm when he was in the midst of hopelessness and depression, he needed God to come through for him. Today you and I may be encountering some challenges but the Lord reigns supreme.

No matter what is happening around us hold on to the Word of God for there is hope for the future (Jeremiah 31:17).

As we continue to trust in God, the morning (the days ahead or the years ahead) will bring us God’s unfailing love that will lift us up. His Word will direct our paths to pleasant places and bring us encouragement in God’s Word.

May our trust in the Lord never fail. May God’s Word continue to be our guide. May we receive the God’s unfailing love that will lift us up and direct our paths to pleasant places in Jesus Mighty name. Amen

Jesus Christ continued His teachings when the Pharisees approached Him with the intention of tricking Him with the question “which is the greatest commandment in the law”?

Jesus Christ already knew their intent so responded accurately by the power and wisdom of God using the words in today’s scriptures.

The greatest commandment therefore is TO LOVE GOD with all your heart, soul and mind. After this Love your neighbour as yourself.

Lord, we love you with all our hearts, souls and minds, help us to remain loving You and also to love our neighbours unconditionally. May we never cease to love God and our neighbours all the days of our lives in Jesus Mighty name,Amen.
