Saved by God’s Mercy and Kindness

[4] But when the goodness and kindness of God our Savior and His love for mankind appeared [in human form as the Man, Jesus Christ], [5] He saved us, not because of any works of righteousness that we have done, but because of His own compassion and mercy, by the cleansing of the new birth (spiritual transformation, regeneration) and renewing by the Holy Spirit.

Today’s scripture makes it clear that we are not saved due to our works or abilities. It is the goodness and kindness of God that has saved us in the first place.

He came down to earth in the form of a man and suffered a shameful death on the cross so that you and I could be saved. Have you made this death on the cross beneficial to Jesus Christ or you are still walking in sin?

Acts 4:12 confirms that there is salvation in no other name than the Name of Jesus Christ.

May the Lord have mercy on us and be kind to us so that we can access His Salvation which comes from Jesus Christ only. May the name of Jesus Christ bring deliverance to our souls and connect us to our heavenly father in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.

Praise be to God for His generosity and unlimited love. Bible says that He loved the world so much that He gave His only begotten son to die for us. It is through this act that Grace has found us.
