Wait patiently for the Lord

‭‭‭James‬ ‭5:7‭-‬8‬ ‭AMP‬‬
[7] So wait patiently, brothers and sisters, until the coming of the Lord. The farmer waits [expectantly] for the precious harvest from the land, being patient about it, until it receives the early and late rains. [8] You too, be patient; strengthen your hearts [keep them energized and firmly committed to God], because the coming of the Lord is near.

Glory and honour be unto God for this beautiful day and the opportunity to rejoice and be glad in it.

Apostle James writes in today’s scripture to encourage us to be patient and look forward to the coming of the Lord. He illustrates this with a farmer who sows a seed and looks forward to the germination and eventually the harvest.

The farmer may miss out on his harvest if he does not take time to till his farm but becomes impatient after a short while. It is the same way if we do not hold on to the Word of God and patiently wait for the Lord we may miss His coming like the 5 foolish virgins.

May we not miss out on the coming of the Lord, may our lamps always be sufficiently oiled with the Word of God to keep us focused on Him. God be our help in Jesus Mighty name. Amen

Wait and Confidently Expect the Lord

“Wait for and confidently expect the Lord; Be strong and let your heart take courage; Yes, wait for and confidently expect the Lord.”
PSALM 27:14 AMP

The Lord our God is Mighty and worthy to be praised. He alone deserves all glory, honour, and adoration.

Because the Almighty is your Lord, there is no need to fret or be anxious. What He has spoken, He will surely bring to pass. Our responsibility is to confidently trust Him and wait for His perfect timing.

The repetition of the phrase “Wait and confidently expect the Lord” in today’s verse emphasizes its importance, it is a divine charge for every child of God. Waiting requires courage, and this courage comes only from above.

Therefore, let us wait for the Lord not passively, but with expectation and confidence that He will come through for us.

May the Lord grant us the patience to align with His timing, the courage to keep standing, and the faith to trust Him completely. May our confidence in the Lord soar higher and higher, in Jesus’ Mighty Name. Amen.

Wait upon the Lord for new Strength and renew your Power

But those who wait for the Lord [who expect, look for, and hope in Him] Will gain new strength and renew their power; They will lift up their wings [and rise up close to God] like eagles [rising toward the sun]; They will run and not become weary, They will walk and not grow tired.
ISAIAH 40:31 AMP

Praise, glory and honour be unto God for this bright and beautiful day, may the joy of the Lord be with you throughout the day.

Wait upon the Lord! Seek the face of the Lord in all things so you can receive His guidance and direction.

The scripture says that as we wait on the Lord we receive supernatural strength and ability to do things which our ordinary strength cannot do.

Mounting up with wings as eagles, running and not getting weary, walking and not getting tired both physically and spiritually are the benefits we obtain from waiting on the Lord.

May we continually wait on the Lord to receive supernatural strength and power to conquer and excel on all fronts. May grace locate us to lift us up to do exploits for the Kingdom of God in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.

Wait patiently for the Lord and receive deliverance

I waited patiently for the Lord ; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry. He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings.
Psalms 40:1‭-‬2 KJV

Glory and honour be to God for this beautiful day and the opportunity to rejoice and be glad in it.

Our scripture for today is encouraging us to wait for God’s timing. Waiting for the Lord may not be an easy venture but once we are able to wait for God we receive great benefits. King David waited patiently for the Lord and the Lord heard him and delivered him.

As we wait patiently for the Lord, May we receive a lifting up from any form of miry clay that is holding us back. The Lord will come through for us as we wait patiently for Him to bring us out of any horrible pit and set us up on the rock.

The waiting period is a time God is moulding us and making us ready to be unleashed, may we not go ahead of God’s timing.

May we not give up during the period of trials and challenges but continue to trust in God and wait patiently till He comes through. God will hear our cry.

May the Lord hear and answer us as we wait patiently for Him. May He set our feet firmly upon a rock and establish our path.
May the Lord place a new song of praise in our mouth.Amen
